When
Friday, September 4, 2026 · 2:30–4:00 PM

The Wheelhouse is excited and honored to host a roundtable discussion between leadership from the State of Colorado and twelve members of the Telluride arts and artist community.

Guests include Josh Blanchard (Director of Colorado Creative Industries), David Oppenheim (Chief of Staff, Office of the Governor), Lisa Kaufmann (Senior Strategic Advisor, Office of the Governor).

About the Event

We'll be opening up the Wheelhouse to attendees for BBQ and beverages, courtesy of Citizens United Bank.

Once settled in we'll have a moderated roundtable conversation covering topics for such as state arts funding, rural creative districts, the arts economy in the Telluride region, and more. Attendees are welcomed to attend and submit any questions/topics they would like to see covered ahead of the event start.

Panel Participants

We'll have approximately a dozen participants for the round table, attempting to cover a range of arts organizations and on-the-ground artists in the community.

If you'd like to attend please contact Rob Nealan at rob@telluridewheelhouse.com, as we may have additional room to invite additional members of the community as the event date approaches.

Getting Here

We're located at 755 Vance Dr in the Ilium Industrial Park, about 10 minutes outside of downtown Telluride. Street parking only — please don't block any driveways or gates.

This roundtable is generously supported by Telluride Arts and Citizens State Bank.
