Clay Date - Wheel Throwing

When
Tuesday, June 9, 2026 · 6:00–8:00 PM
Ages
18+

Robin Kondracki walks you through your first time on a pottery wheel — from centering a ball of clay to pulling your first piece. Beginner-friendly, no experience required.

If there are pieces you want to keep at the end of the night, pick out a glaze color and we'll handle the rest — trimming, glazing, and firing — so they're ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks. We'll call or text you once your piece is ready for pickup.

Come solo, bring a friend, or grab a seat with your partner for a fun and unique Tuesday evening.

What's included

  • Clay, tools, and your own wheel for the full session
  • Hands-on coaching from Robin — small groups of 5
  • Two firings per piece (bisque + glaze)
  • Choice of glaze color from a curated selection
  • Up to two finished pieces per person to take home
  • Pickup at the studio or in town 2–3 weeks after the event — we'll text or email when your piece(s) are ready to coordinate
  • Refreshments and water provided

What to bring

  • Clothes you don't mind getting clay on
  • Long hair tied back
